No Program:  Rick read some excerpts from a book of Rosecrans' Official Records recently given to the historical society.

Upcoming Programs:
  October:  Pauline Cushman, Union Spy - Valerie Hamill
November:  no meeting
December 13:   Old Fashioned Christmas Party following a brief business meeting
                        at  6:00
In lieu of programs next year, we discussed doing First Person Impressions. 
 
Standing Committees:
  Ladies Aide Society - No report. 
            Group will not make apple-butter for Heritage Day
  Fundraising - Bill Comisford, chair - No report
    Dinner-Theaters - Valerie Hamill (contacts)  and Dana Russell (drama)
    ► September 29th - Private dinner theater.  Tom Paul doing
         Living History drama
    ► October 13th - Repeat Living History previous month
    ► November 10th - Britian and the Civil war
    ► December 8th - Rosecrans and the Sanitary Fair
      Practice dates were set for 6 p.m.October 18 and 31
  Education Committee - Polly Horn, Chair
    Committee meeting 7 p.m. October 8 in Myers Inn
  Living History Committee - Dana Russell, Chair  
    Like to offer costumed visits to nursing homes, Hanby House, etc.
  Rosecrans Memorial - Bill Comisford Chair  
    Labor Day Flea Market.  Due to predicted heavy rain, will set up in the
             Inn rather than at the statue to sell bricks
    Barn Yard & Bake Sale - Sue Comisford and Alice Chapan

 Need help to close down at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 14 and Saturday the 15th.

    Memorial Fund has taken in $6,900 since the rock was placed
Other Business:
  Audit Committee and Nominating Committee will be appointed at October Meeting

Annual Luncheon and Planning Meeting will be at noon January 12, 2013, at PJs
